Applications are now being accepted for those that would like to be a member of the FloridaOne SMRT team    The SMRT teams are deployed to support state disasters and functions when federal support is not requested. (i.e. Superbowl, etc) The federal government will be requesting that the states deploy their own assets, such as SMRT, before they deploy federal assets. Because the state of Florida has agreements with other states, it is also possible we will deploy to disasters in the other states as well.
